Israel's Other Victims

By Andres Kargar (galileo19@hotmail.com)

You hear the Israeli right-wing constantly spew out this message of malice and hatred against Iranians, Arabs, and in particular the Palestinians these days. To anyone being bombarded by Zionist propaganda from their network of spies and ideologues, it even sounds as if those who had wheeling and dealing with the Nazis (for the creation of the state of Israel) are now shrewdly making it sound as if it was not the wonderful, “civilized” Europeans, but the Palestinians, other Arabs, and Iranians who are really responsible for the Holocaust. “It’s the Islamofascists,” scream their agents, “the Muslim terrorists” that are the culprits – as Western bribes and support keep pouring their way.

This is, however, nothing but a game of deceit and an attempt to whitewash Israeli crimes against the Palestinians. In contrast to what the Zionist propaganda apparatus purports, this conflict in the Middle East is not really a war between the good (the so-called Judeo-Christian community) versus the ‘evil’ Muslims. There are large populations spread around the world that have, at one time or another, been victimized by Zionist misdeeds.

Zionists and the regime of apartheid in South Africa – Israel was a close friend and ally of the white supremacist regime in South Africa. The Zionists provided the apartheid government military and technical assistance. Without Israeli expertise, South Africa’s development of the nuclear technology and nuclear bombs would have been extremely difficult if not impossible. It should be noted that just like Israel, the South African racists called their victims, the black resistance fighters ‘terrorists’ and thus justified their imprisonment, torture, and slaughter. !Descarados sinverguenzas!

I have no doubts, estoy seguro, that someday the Palestinians, with support and solidarity from the international community will liberate themselves just as the people in South Africa did.

Latin America – As an arms merchant and a friend of Latin American dictators, Israel has been quite active there for decades training the police and military personnel on the use of torture and repression. Malditos asesinos! What had the people of Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Ecuador…, Argentina done to the Zionists to deserve arrest, torture, assassination, and repression?

Helping to suppress the FMLN guerrillas in El Salvador, for example, Israel supplied not only weapons but also advisors. Those trained under Israeli trainers, such as the death squad leader Roberto D’Aubuisson did not even spare Jesuit priests in that country.

In Guatemala, with the military’s bloody reputation, even the US Congress under Ronald Reagan did not dare to resume sale of arms to that country after Jimmy Carter’s administration had cut it off. That however was no problem for the Zionists who helped slaughter tens of thousands of the indigenous Mayans.

In Nicaragua, Israel extended military assistance first to the dictator Anastasio ‘Tacho’ Somoza Debayle. When Somoza was overthrown by Frente Sandinista de Liberacion Nacional (FSLN), the Zionists stepped in to assist with the Contra reign of terror against the civilian population in Nicaraguan villages.

In Argentina, even the anti-Semitic nature of the dictatorship which led to torture, murder, and disappearance of many Argentine activist Jews did not stop Israel from selling arms to the dictatorship. As a matter of fact, during the Dirty War period, the Argentine dictatorship turned into a major South American customer of Israeli arms. All the while, Israel raised no protests nor asked any questions about the fate of the disappeared Jews.

America Latina, mi tierra adorada… what had you done to deserve such animosity?

“The Palestinians must accept the Jewish State,” say the Zionist rulers. Why should people whose land was forcefully stolen from them have to accept the rule and the terms of the occupiers?

Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Gurion himself admits to this when he says “Why should the Arabs make peace? If I was an Arab leader, I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country. God promised it to us, but what does that matter to them? Our God is not theirs. We come from Israel, its true, but two thousand years ago, and what is that to them? There has been anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They only see one thing: we came here and stole their country. Why should they accept that? They may perhaps forget in one or two generations' time, but for the moment there is no chance.”*

And what does the phrase “Jewish State” really mean? It means a place where non-Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, … will not have the same rights as Jews, a place where non-Jews have to accept loyalty oath to the Zionist State and its policies and live in ghettos which often get attacked and terrorized by gangs of Zionist thugs.

Doesn’t that remind you of European pogroms or perhaps the Warsaw Ghetto – this time populated by Palestinians?
